336. "Sig. Blitz/MAGICIAN" on 1787 Connecticut Copper. Bold and clear block letter Very Fine+ countermark on AG/pitted CT copper coin, reverse somewhat clear and readable. Rare and highly desirable magic c/m, this is the only known example on a CT cent. All c/m on colonial coins are RARE!

Rulau Plate 1997, where he values at $500: p.305. As there are no recent sale records for such a spectacular piece, it should bring more today; Brunk Plate; Melvin Fuld: "Seldom Seen Tokens", TAMS 1976:52 plate. Color Cover Photo.

3222. Magic U.S. COINS - Magic Trick. Lot of two US Half-dollars, each cut into 3 parts, with rim cut in for rubber band. For the trick of putting a coin into a bottle. Bend, and the "coin" collapses into a third the space, fitting into a narrow opening. The rubber band then pops the coin back to full size! 1953 Franklin and 1967 Kennedy silver half-dollars. About F-XF, no rubber bands.
