678. El Salvador: National Shield. Similar to above, KM Type III-A Fine c/m; on Mexico Charles and Johanna real (1536-1572), KM-50, toned VG/F, pierced. This c/m, applied after 1839, establishes an active circulating life of some 300 years! Neat! Nice.
